The Provider Relations Manager works in support of the goals of the Provider Relation Group and establishes positive and effective working relationships with transportation providers, LogistiCare departments, and other related agencies to establish superior partnerships and to reduce and resolve instances of discontent between LogistiCare, the Transportation Provider Network, and other related agencies.

The Provider Relations Manager (PRM) is an intermediary between LogistiCare (LSI) and the Transportation Provider Network (TPN). The PRM provides support to new providers acclimating to LSI; is a resource for existing providers working with LSI; and is a conduit for introducing and managing change in policy or process for the TPN and LSI staff. The PRM serves as Ombudsman in resolving problems with and mediating disputes between LSI and TPN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reports to the Director, Provider Relations Group (PRG) and has informational responsibilities to the designated Regional Vice President

Develops and maintains positive working relations with the TPN and LSI staff

Updates PRG Director on outcome of his/her communications with the TPN and LSI

Accepts complaints from providers or LSI staff and maintains complaint resolution database on daily basis; shares database with PRG Director and Regional VP as required

Establishes a timeframe for appropriate responses to issues raised by TPN or LSI staff

Interim reporting of progress in resolving the issues will be made weekly to PRG Director and appropriate VP

Supports LSI staff and attends meetings with the Provider and LSI as needed

Acts as a source expert on how to reach and communicate with appropriate LSI departments

The primary objective of this position is to interact with customers in need of repair and maintenance services by identifying their requirements and scheduling services as needed to facilitate timely and complete repairs.

This employee will manage the Service Department of a high profile Marina, and has great potential to grow the business by providing excellent customer service to both slip and external customers. The manager is responsible for managing the technicians on site, along with coordinating with our other locations, to schedule and track the progress of services provided for our customer’s boats. We specialize in Yamaha personal watercraft, and Yamaha, Bayliner, Maxum, and Tracker boats and marine products, including Mercury and Volvo motor sytems. The manager also schedules the preparation of boats for delivery to retail customers and maintenance of our rental boat fleet. The Service Manager is also responsible for the operation and profitability of the Ship’s Store, along with the ordering and delivery of special order parts for our customers.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to;

• Provide superior customer service by interpreting customer complaints to help diagnose problems correctly to perform required repairs

• Examine the unit (including trailer) upon receipt to identify any other needed repairs

• Suggest additional maintenance as needed to ensure customer satisfaction with the operation of their boat

• Schedule technicians and equipment as required to meet customer demands and best utilize the resources of the Service Department

• Monitor progress of on-going repair work, updating customers of any changes as needed

• Demonstrate and train technicians to “get it right the first time” while performing repairs in a timely fashion

• Maintain accurate work order records for recording time and billing customers.

• Strive for the Department to be a safe work environment with equipment properly maintained

• Provides regular evaluations and performance reviews for the staff both focusing on rewarding good performance while also utilizing progressive disciplinary measures as needed.

• Communicate with other employees, manufacturer’s representatives, insurance adjusters, warranty advisors, claim representatives, etc. as needed

• Proactively manages the Service Department’s work schedule to ensure all jobs are completed on time while maintaining productivity standards and customer satisfaction goals

• Resolve customer complaints and build a loyal Service Department customer base

• Accurately process warranty claims to permit prompt settlements

• Schedule prep work and verify the quality to ensure on time delivery of boats to satisfied customers

• Maintain service department inventory to facilitate timely repair and maintenance services

• Provide and follow the progress of special order parts through the inventory system

• Maintain service bulletins to improve technician efficiency

• Audit technician performance to ensure technicians are adequately trained and able to complete jobs as assigned, and provide schedules for additional training and encourage training and testing to meet certification requirements.

Compensation is based on a mix of salary and commissions on Service Department revenues and profitability. Due to the nature of this position, the applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds for short distances. Frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching may be required to both pick and place materials on shelving units.
