Personal Injury/Workers Compensation firm is looking to hire a paralegal/legal assistant preferably with experience specific to

the practices of our firm preferably, but will consider the right person.

Your primary job duties would include but are not limited to, answer phones, meeting and greeting

with clients, client in take, preparing letters and motions, filing documents and legal research. All this must be done

with minimal supervision. We are located in the Windy Hill exit area. This is a full time job. No Benefits included.

Requirements are:

- At least 2 years of verifiable work experience

SOUP TO NUTS – GETTING WELL DRAFTED SUBPOENAS FILED AND SERVED. I DELETE ALL APPLICATIONS AND RESUMES THAT DON’T SQUARELY FIT THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE.

1. Ability to do the subpoenas quickly, with little need for direction on how to do them – meaning little guidance on what language to use and what to ask for no guidance required for all the mechanical steps of doing it properly, getting it served and filed etc. I WANT SOMEONE WHO HAS SUCCESSFULLY SUBPOENAED THESE VERY COMPANIES BEFORE.

2. Familiar with the applicable statutes and different county clerk office requirements.

3. I want someone who has done subpoenas on these big companies before. I want the person to be able to execute with minimal guidance on my part. . I want to know how many cases you did where YOU did the work yourself (not directing others).

4. I want someone with the experience with the push backs from these big companies subpoenaed (privacy, refusal to cooperate, demanding high expenses to comply, etc). and with knowledge of the actual production these companies provide.

5. I want to know your real world experience with the exact work I am looking for. NO GENERALIZATIONS PLEASE.

This position is responsible for processing information between our practice, Work Comp insurance adjustors, Work Comp Case Managers, and patients. The Coordinator requests authorizations, schedules procedures for patients, and provides necessary information to insurance adjustors and Case Managers. This position also requires scheduling of patients as well as medical billing knowledge.
