Billing Specialist (Hinsdale)

Growing Medical Clinic is seeking an energetic individual to join the team as a Billing Specialist. We are looking for a detail oriented individual who will be responsible for primarily billing operations for our office.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Work collaboratively to review for accuracy, approve and release all charges related to new billing and unbilled revenue.

• Match proper and appropriate documentation, according to payer guidelines, and forward weekly according to policy.

• Obtain and maintain through training and experience detailed knowledge of policies and procedures related to medical reimbursement standards, (i.e.; specific and updated payer requirements and filing limits)

• Research and follow up related to claim problems and concerns

• Enter all new patient account information into system weekly.

• Conduct customer service activities including translation services, telephone response, inter and intra office communication as needed.

• Perform other duties, assignments and/or special projects as may be required to fulfill the accountability objective as outlined above. Including analyzing and reviewing claims statistical reports.

• Receive information from referral sources and verify insurance benefits for medical services. Forwards all information to appropriate parties.

Requirements
