There are 2 positions available:

1) Stylist / Personal Shopper. This is a sales job. If you can sell, if you love people, and if you have a passion for fashion, this might be the job for you. With a fast-paced environment, new customers are coming in every day. Your job is to not only find them an outfit they look terrific in, but to also build relationships, make friends, and create a bond with the customer such that they can’t help but come back, shop with you, bring their friends, and love their time and experience with you. Service, selling, and delighting the customer is the heart and soul of AKIRA. Stylist pay ranges from $10 – $25/hr, depending on your own personal performance.

2) Manager. Same as the above, but you have to be the best stylist/personal shopper/salesperson in your store to start with. You have to be able to flat out sell and charm customers. Then, from there, you have to be a leader. You have to be a coach, teacher, psychologist, motivator, mother, disciplinarian, etc… all in one. You have to be out in front, leading, pulling your people forward, leading by example, and building a team, building a store, and building a business. You have to think and act like an owner. Over time, a store takes on the personality of the manager. It’s either getting stronger or weaker every day. The change is imperceptible from day to day, but over a multi-month period, the results become obvious. AKIRA managers are the best in any business.
