Established appliance repair company looking for techs in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Our business is quickly expanding and we need techs to help cover the surplus of work.

POSITION SUMMARY:

2 years minimum experience working specifically on residential kitchen appliances and laundry equipment to include washers, dryers, stoves, ovens & dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers.

Excellent customer service skills, team cooperation, problem-solving, and effective communication skills are necessary for in-home appliance repair

A high level of electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills are required. Good understanding and use of tools & test equipment are necessary.

Apply only with 2 years minimum experience in appliance repair.

COMPENSATION: Based on experience plus full Benefit Package includes hourly salary + bonuses, medical/dental/life insurance, long-term disability, paid vacations/holidays, company stocked truck, and two-way Nextel Communication System.

Must be over 21 years old and have clean driving record.

Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Innovative advertising company is looking for independent contractor / site manager for O’hare International Airport program.

Program begins November 11th and continues through January 15th, 2010. Could turn into long-term opportunity starting in January.

Part – time responsibility for November and December offering $5,000 – $6,000 for the 2 month period based upon work load.

Workload entails 4-5x per week trip to airport to photograph, inspect and clean advertisement graphics and could include 1-3x per month installation of vinyl graphics.

Each trip to airport will entail:

Inspection of advertisement graphics

Cleaning / Maintenance of graphics

Photographing advertisements

Report back to company w/ inspection and photos

We anticipate this job taking approximately 3-4 hours per day, 4-5 days per week. Time of day for maintenance/inspection negotiable. Monthly installations occur between 10pm and 6am.

Ideal candidate will be self motivated. Detail oriented with prior experience working with vinyl signs or similar substrate, reliable transportation, a digital camera and computer with internet access.
