Come join the Air National Guard. We are currently actively recruiting new members as well as prior service motivated individuals. The Air National Guard is a component of the Air Force which is supported by both the state and federal government. Serve your community without sacrificing your personal life. You can keep your personal career while providing a service.

Selected candidates will attend paid basic training in Texas for 8 ½ weeks followed by technical specialty training. Airmen completing training will then serve the traditional 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year at their local Air National Guard base. All training is fully compensated. Lodging and transportation will be provided.

Basic Eligibility:

- Be between the ages of 17-34 (waivers available for prior service and some professional degree holders)

- Have a high school diploma or GED

- Have limited law violations (no felonies)

- Be in good medical condition

- Be a permanent resident or a US citizen.

Eligible members will receive an aptitude test (ASVAB) and be scheduled a physical.

- The Air National Guard has served in many humanitarian missions.

- The law protects the civilian jobs of national guard members when performing duty.
