Director of Network Services

Location: Downtown Dallas

Permanent position/direct hire

Rate: Salary + potential bonus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Network Services has key oversight of all network operations and network engineering efforts and will support and design Enterprise Class Customers at multiple Data Centers. Significant hands on knowledge and support of networking devices and operations in a datacenter environment are required. Project Management and consulting skills are an essential function to this role, as well as vast knowledge and troubleshooting of Microsoft Environments. Also, designing and engineering Enterprise Network Solutions will be required.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Strong experience working in an enterprise hosting environment

• 5+ years of management and corporate leadership experience

• 7+ years hands on networking experience supporting MPLS/IP/VPN network in a carrier environment.

• Experience working in a data center environment

• Ensure 99.999% network uptime for 6000-7000 devices

• Monitoring Dell Servers

• Expert network configuration and troubleshooting skills

• Expert knowledge of BGP, HSRP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VPLS, VOIP, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, IPSEC

• Cisco Routing, Switching and Firewall devices particularly the Cisco ASA 5500 series and PIX product line

• Experience with Cisco IP Telephony system

• Bachelor’s Degree
