Role:

The dairy R&D Specialist will support development of product formulations, evaluation of new products and ingredients from suppliers. The R&D specialist will define process parameters, procedural specifications, shelf-life evaluations, coordinate pilot and industrial trials, document trial results, and coordinate production start-up time-lines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop product formulations and work on prototypes

• Evaluate and approve ingredients and suppliers

• Test and define procedures and processing parameters

• Evaluate shelf-life behavior and define product code dates

• Coordinate pilot plant trials and industrial scaling up process

Qualifications:

• 3+ year’s pharmaceutical/medical sales with a documented track record of success required.

• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information

• Demonstrated ability to manage territory budget

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a complete background check

• Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales and leadership accomplishments

• Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and act upon sales data within an assigned geography

• Solid business acumen including excellent and persuasive business communication

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion and to analyze and address territory opportunities by building key customer relationships

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Interface with Project Management Team to coordinate the Patient Recruitment and/or Retention implementation plan as developed in the Scope of Work for the particular project. Coordinate the implementation of patient recruitment, community outreach and physician outreach activities and maintain follow up contact with participating research sites as necessary. Clinical Research experience required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Project Management Team to create pre-screening study specific questionnaires for each project awarded to DAC

• Liaise with the participating research sites to analyze each sites patient recruitment needs

• Work with the Project Manager in the development of and coordinate the production of the patient recruitment materials

• Coordinate the distribution of patient recruitment materials to participating research sites

• Establish and maintain weekly contact with each participating research site to assess their patient recruitment needs

• Report assigned study metrics in weekly team meetings

• Establish on-going advertising assessment of the participating research site’s patient recruitment needs

• Maintain patient recruitment contact logs for assigned studies

• Interface with study related community outreach organizations, to develop relationships with local organizations and obtain

information regarding upcoming events, sponsorship opportunities, support group activities and community events for the participating research sites

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as administrative/clerical support to the Project Management Team.

• Provide assigned project assistance to implement outlined recruitment campaign.

• Support project management team as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Health or Business related field, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations

• Clinical Research experience required

• Experienced and efficient in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio, Project)
