C#.NET and VB 6 lead software engineer to maintain and develop major enhancements for restaurant POS applications using MS SQL 2008 DB with SQL and T-SQL stored procedures and queries. No end-user support-call responsibilities, pure development position.

Must have:

• Minimum 5 years experience using VB6

• Minimum 3 years experience with C#.NET

• Minimum 5 years experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 database implementation, programming, and tools.

• Competent in use of T-SQL and stored procedures.

• Solid experience in transaction-based processing systems, including order entry.

• Experience programming MSMQ.

• Competent in use of Visual Studio 2008 Reporting Services

• Competent in use of Visual Studio 2005/2008.

• Competent in use of Source Safe.

• Ability to understand and communicate complex business-user requirements.

Nice to have:

• Experience maintaining legacy Windows-based systems.

• Any POS experience is a definite plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting in a confined work station for extended periods of time. Lifting up to 20 lbs. Repetitive bending of wrists.
